We are able to understand that her strength is beautiful physique and innocent smile. Samira Reddy who was popular in Tamil and Telugu made her entry into Tamil through the film Vaaranam Aayiram. Gowtham Menon was responsible for this.

Samira Reddy said,” I have lot of confidence on Gowtham Menon. That is why I had agreed to act in Nadunisi Naigal when Gowtham Menon called me. In the same way, Gowtham Menon has also confidence in me and that is the reason that he has chosen me for his next film.

A project will be successful if there is mutual confidence and that is how Nadunisi Naigal has come out. When I got the role in Vaaranam Aayiram, may told me to be consider this role since that was a small one. But the same people after seeing the film said that my role was very powerful. My role was powerful because it was a base for the incidents to happen in Surya’s life.

I don’t know that whether I will get such a role in the films that I act. Nadunisi Naigal is a very different type of film. Though this film is an experimental one, it will be sensational. Though this film is very youthful, there no songs. I am donning the role of a college girl. The story of this filmis about an incident that happens to a college girl which makes a ruckus. Ramya shares her experience of Mandhira Punnagai

Ramya who was acting in a TV serial titled Madurai in Vijay TV has now become an actress of the big screen through the film Mandhira Punnagai which was released recently. When asked her that how she was selected for this film, she said,” Mandhira Punnagai is my first film. Before this I have acted in lots of Ad films.

But my role in this film is negative one. Karu Palaniappan who saw my photo in the face book selected me for this role. In the beginning itself he told me that the role was negative one and at the same time he told me to act boldly and I will get good recognition.

I was little nervous because this role was negative. But now like the director told me, lots of people are phoning and appreciating me and are telling me that I have acted well. I am really happy now. Many are asking me about my mindset when I did this negative role. In fact I really wept when I acted in a scene.

The wife will go away with another person. The husband when he comes to know about this commits suicide. The children who does not know anything searches for their mother. I who was sitting inside at one stage lost control of myself and started weeping really. This kind of incident should never happen in anyone’s life.

The audience who saw this film said,” Can there be a mother like that? When we see you, we feel like slapping you but when we see you in person, you are direct opposite person.” With regard to my future plan, there are many good actresses including Manorama. All of them are still acting. I also have a desire to earn the name of agood actress like them.”

Vidhya Balan says that she is happy to don Silk Smitha’s role

Silk Smitha was the glamour queen who rocked the Tamil cinema in the 80s. She debuted in the film Vandi Chakkaram. She had acted in more than 200 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malaylam languages.

When she was in the height of her career, she committed suicide in the year 1996. Though she seduced the audience with her glamour, her personal life was filled with lots of sorrows. . Many have cheated her.

Many have loved her and ditched her. Some took money from her and cheated her. Smitha who was fed up, because of this committed suicide.

Now a bi-pic of her life is being made in Hindi with the title The Dirty Pictures. Milan Ruthria is directing this film. Vidhya Balan is donning the role of Silk Smitha while Ajay Devgan dons a guest role. Vidhya Balan while speaking about this film said,” Silk Smitha’s life is filled with sorrows. I am very happy I am donning the role of her.

Silk was born in Andhra. But after becoming an actress she settled down in Chennai. I am gathering information about the place she lived in, the actors who moved close with her and also her relatives so that I can act in this role pragmatically.”

Amala Paul says that Rajni has appreciated her

After the success of Myna, Amala Paul will be doing the female lead role in the film to be directed by A R Murugadoss. She will also pair with Vikram in a film and with Arya in Vettai. Amala while speaking about the experiences she gained in Myna, she said,” It has given me a lot of experience.

Myna is the reason for my happiness that I have gained in my entire career. There was a little slip in my first film but Myna changed the fate. At this point of time a new world has dawned within me. There are lots of appreciations from many.

I get lots of phone calls appreciating me. My in box is filled with messages. Some one knocks my door and gives me flower bouquet and tells me that Rajni sir has given this. Rajni has written in his own hands saying‘ Greetings Amala’. I had tears in my eyes and I show this to my mother.

She also weeps. This is the greatest recognition I have ever got. I never expected this. Even if I think about this now I feel very happy and also have tears in my eyes. Now I have decided that how my career should be. Within two years after coming from Kerala, they have given me a great scope.

I should retain this till the end of my cinema career. The days when I roamed the forests and the people with whom I have moved with are unforgettable. I am really thankful to every one of them there. I am also thankful for the fate and above all a great thanks to Prabhu Solomon who made all this possible for me.”

Priyamani says there are no good Tamil films

Actress Priyamani says that these days there are no good Tamil films and that is the reason that she is not acting in Tamil films. She who was sidelined as an unlucky actress came to limelight after Ameer made her act in the film Paruthiveeran. The directors and producers seeing her acting in Paruthiveeran approached her with roles but she turned down the offers.

Then later on she acted in some waste films which made her stumble. So she switched over to Telugu and tried to attract the audience by showing her curves excessively and became very popular there.

Priyamani who is hunting for offers in Telugu and Malayalam films says the reason for her not acting in Tamil films. She said,” These days there are no good films in Tamil and that is why I am not acting in Tamil films.”

There is news that you are acting as Vikram’s wife?

I am acting with Vikram in a film directed by Vijay. The story and the role I am doing is suspense. Apart from this Vikram is giving me lots of tips at the shooting spots. I was really scared that how I was gong to act with him. But he removed the fear on the first day itself. I was able to understand that how I should act in a scene. It is very cheerful working with him.

Did you expect this success?

Really I never expected this success. It is all like a dram. When I see the support of the fans in the out door shootings, I have tears in my eyes. Some of my earlier films were not successful. I took this failure as am experience and now I am sharing the happiness of success now.

Films on hand?

I am pairing with Siddarth in a Telugu film. In Tamil I am pairing with Arya in Vettai and with Vimal in Vaagai Sooda Vaa. This film is directed by Sargunam. I am also acting in the film directed by Pandiraj. I have also got some other offers also. I am very careful that there should be no problems because of my call sheet.

There is news that you are demanding more salary?

This kind of talk will always be there in the film world when once the actress becomes successful. I know what is my talent and how much salary I deserve. I only expect that much.

When are you going to settle in Chennai?

Now I am residing in Ernakulam. Since I am acting in Tamil and Telugu films, I am not acting in Malayalam films. Next year I will shift my residence.

Halle Berry has been busy dazzling photogs on thered carpetrecently, hamming it up for a newFarrelly Brothers comedy, and enjoying a newromancewith Olivier Martinez -- but she says that despite her glamorous adulthood, she's still healing from the trauma she witnessed in her childhood home.

The Oscar winner, 44, opened up toCNNrecently about what motivates her to work with an organization that supports women who escape violent homes.

Berry recalls being terrified that her violent dad, who physically abused her mom, would turn on her, adding,"I think I've spent my adult life dealing with the sense of low self-esteem that sort of implanted in me. Somehow I felt not worthy."As incredible as that sounds coming from a highly paid,highlyphotogenic movie star, she explains,"Before I'm 'Halle Berry,' I'm little Halle....a little girl growing in this environment that damaged me...I've spent my adult life trying to really heal from that."

DreamWorks Animation to Adapt Oni Press Comic 'Maintenance'« FirstShowing.net

As we said with the news thatDreamWorks Animationis working on aCG/hand-drawn hybrid project, the animation house is looking to step up its game with someveryoriginal upcoming projects.Heat Visionreports they've picked up rights toMaintenance, anOni Press comic bookthat follows the exploits of twojanitorswho work for TerroMax Inc, the world's biggest evil science think tank. When they're not dealing with toxic spill monsters and menial time machine repairs, they have to contend with their boss, a multitude of mad scientists, jetpack cavemen, alien repomen, and the cute girl who works at reception. Sounds crazy!

Maintenance: It's A Dirty Jobwas written by Jim Massey and illustrated by Robbi Rodriguez (visitits Oni Press page). The adaptation was originally in the works at Warner Bros as a live-action project forMcGto direct, but for some odd reason the studio dropped the project (probably based on Oni comicScott Pilgrim'sunfortunate failure at the box office) and now DreamWorks Animation swooped in to pick it up. This sounds like it could be pretty damn fun to see as an animated movie, I just hope DreamWorks gets a great team of developers to work on it and not mush it into the dull and predictable DreamWorks movies we usually see.
