Meera Jasmine made her entry to Tamil films through the film Run. After this she continued to act in many films which include Bala, Puthiya Geethai, Anjanaya, Ayudha Ezhuthu, Sandai Kozhi and Ilaignan.

Apart from Tamil, she has acted in numerous Malayalam and Telugu films. Meera Jasmine was in love with Mandolin exponent Rajesh for the last four years. Since she was continuously acting in films, she was postponing her marriage. New heroines like Anushka, Tapsee and Hansika Motwani have entered the scenario. Because of this she was being sidelined by the cinema industry.

Even her recent releases did not do well at the box office. So now she has decided to quit acting and get married. Marriage arrangements are going on in full swing.

One of the Tamil films that Sonia has signed is titled Oru Nadigaiyin Vaakumoolam. She is doing the female lead role in this film. Apart from this, there is great significance for her role. She is donning the role of an actress. This film will speak about the other side of the actresses.

Bollywood actress Sayali Bhagat who had paired with S J Suryah in the film Newtonin Moondram Vidhi is to act in a Hollywood film. While speaking about this, she said,"It is true that I am acting in a Hollywood film. I have already signed the contract. The shooting of the film is commencing next month.

It wouldn’t be right for me to say that who else is co-starring with me. Only the production company should make an announcement regarding this. I am donning the role of a model. I will speak about the other details once the shooting commences. Many are asking me that why I am modeling as well as acting. Because of modeling only I got the opportunity to act.

Divya in love with a Portugal businessman

Trisha said that she will not act in a film which has no good story. Trisha while speaking about this said,"These days actors and actresses think that they can speak anything.

They are praising so much about the films they act. When that film becomes a hit, they say it is their luck to act in such a film which has a wonderful story. But after the release of the film, the film will leave the theatres within few days. So I don’t like to praise the films I act. All the films will not be a success. Only the audience should decide the success or failure of a film. We should leave that decision to them. Praising a film before its release is like cheating the audience.

I am selecting films that has good story line. Though my role in a film is good, the film sometimes fails. Even if I am paid more salary I will not act in the films that would be a failure."

Taapsee while speaking to the media said,"Aadukalam earned me a good name. The song Yaathe Yaathe seems to have been written for me. Now I am acting in the film Vandhan Vendran.

I am also acting in a Telugu film directed by Krishnavamsi. In between I have also completed acting in a Hindi film David Dhawan. This film is the remake of the Hindi film Chashme Buddoor which was released in 1981.I have also paired with Mammooty in the Malayalam film titled Doubles.

 So far I have not given importance to glamour. I am accepting roles that have scope for acting. But I will be careful that I will act in a commercial film which will be a hit."
