Tejashree asks for a good role

When asked Tejashree whether she is not getting offers in Tamil, she said,"When the film Otran was released, I got a good reception. I thought I will have a bright future in Tamil. Because of this I learnt Tamil systematically and stayed here renting a house.

After this I got the opportunity to act in a dozen of films including Imsai Arasan Irupathi Moondram Pulikesi and Kalvanin Kadhali. There was importance for my roles in some of the films. I also paired with Vivek in the film Solli Adippaen. That film is yet to be released. I had a lot of scope for acting in this film. But I am sad because I have not got a role where I will be in the whole film.

Had I got such an opportunity, I would have earned a big name and fame. Then I would have got lots of roles. Since I debuted as an actress to dance for a single song, I am only getting such offers. But I am requesting the directors to give me a good role. But no one is accepting that. Because of this I stopped dancing for a single song. This decision was wrong. Now I have been signed for a film which is to be directed by Dharmalinga. There are two heroines in this film. I have got the role which I had expected."
